You wouldn’t see this plaque about the long-gone Chain Pier because it’s on the pedestrian walkway near the Aquarium Terraces in Brighton. And while we are on the subject of piers, it seems that the Palace Pier (or Brighton Pier, as the current owners insist on calling it) has not been sold.
