Going Nowhere

Amazing facts from a report published last year by the RAC Foundation. Yes, that’s RAC as in Royal Automobile Club…

“The average car spends about 80% of the time parked at home, is parked elsewhere for about 16% of the time, and is thus only actually in use (i.e. moving) for the remaining 3-4% of the time.”

  1. What's interesting is that when the RAC released this data last year, they used it to criticise local councils for not providing enough parking spaces! No, that's not a joke, they really did!
