You know that Christmas isn’t far off when the beach hut advent calendar hits Hove seafront – individual beach huts open up one by one in the run-up to Christmas, with carol singing and festivities. 
And then, four hundred red-coated santas rush past in the Santa Dash. All on Hove seafront. None of it visible from inside a box.
