Trees bring benefits to the urban landscape and improve the quality of life for those living around them and those who come into contact with them as part of their daily lives.

Trees help mitigate the ‘urban heat island’ effect and provide bio-diversity for a variety of creatures. And they look great. So here’s a plug for Hove Civic Society’s campaign to restore Hove’s Victorian tree heritage. Naturally, this doesn’t come free, so no doubt Hove Civic Society would echo the sentiments, if not the language of Bob Geldof, “give us your ******* money.” Here’s how.
