Hockney was speaking in a BBC tv programme about his paintings of Woldgate Woods, part of his current show “A Bigger Picture.” Hockney has taken over the fourteen rooms of London’s Royal Academy with this exhibition of watercolours, oils, photos, films and iPad pictures, mostly of East Yorkshire. And provided a well deserved quote of the week.
