Croatia: Where Are The Cars?

Here are some pictures taken in Croatia this summer – Split, and the islands of Vis and Hvar: beautiful. But something is missing. Surely the urban planners could have carved out some parking spaces along the quays, in front of the cafes, and alongside the boats? All that space – just for people who want to stroll, enjoy themselves, walk and talk, eat and drink.
